Trauma-informed care means I understand how trauma affects the mind and body, and I create a safe environment where we always work at a pace that feels right for you. You won't be pushed to discuss anything before you're ready.
We meet via a secure, encrypted video platform. You'll receive a private link before each session. All you need is a stable internet connection and a private space where you feel comfortable.
The duration varies for each person. Some clients find relief in a few months, while others prefer ongoing support. We'll regularly check in about your progress and adjust our approach as needed.
Research consistently shows that online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most issues, including trauma and anxiety. Many clients appreciate the comfort of their own space.
I ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations. Life happens, and I understand emergencies occur. We can discuss rescheduling if you need to cancel on short notice.
