What this website is

This website presents information about my work as a psychotherapist in training and allows you to get in touch or book an appointment. The texts here are general in nature and are not individual advice.

Not a substitute for treatment

Nothing on this website — including the reflection tool — is a diagnosis, an assessment, or a treatment recommendation. The reflection tool deliberately produces no score and no result. It exists only to help you put your own experience into words.

Information on this site does not replace consultation with a physician, psychotherapist or psychiatrist.

If you are in crisis

This website is not an emergency service, and messages sent through it are not monitored around the clock.

If you are in immediate danger or thinking about ending your life, please contact the emergency services in your country straight away, or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. In Ukraine the Lifeline Ukraine helpline can be reached on 7333; across the EU the general emergency number is 112.

Please do not wait for a reply from this website.

Appointments and cancellation

Sessions are arranged individually and take place online. If you need to cancel, please give at least 24 hours notice so the time can be offered to someone else. Emergencies happen and are handled with common sense.

Fees and payment

Current fees are listed on the services page. The introductory consultation is free of charge. Payment for sessions is arranged individually; the applicable amount is the one shown at the time of booking.

Confidentiality and its limits

Everything you share in therapy is treated confidentially.

As part of my training I take part in supervision, where cases are discussed in anonymised form with an experienced supervisor who is likewise bound to confidentiality. Beyond that, confidentiality may only be set aside where the law requires it — in particular where there is a serious and immediate danger to your life or to the life of another person.

The content of this website is prepared with care, but no guarantee is given for its completeness or accuracy. Where this site links to external websites, I have no influence over their content and accept no responsibility for it; responsibility lies with their respective operators.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated if the services offered change. The version applicable is the one published at the time you use the website.
